Due to CalPERS reporting requirements, employees working less than 12 months compute monthly base salary as: (work calendar days x average base hours per day x hourly rate) divided by work calendar pay periods.
Hours worked beyond the monthly base salary are paid on an extra-duty timecard in accordance with the payroll schedule.
